Introduction:
The “Developing Khushu in Salah” course is designed to help the Muslims enhance their level of khushu (concentration, tranquility, and mindfulness) in their daily prayers.
This course aims to provide practical guidance, strategies, and insights to overcome distractions, increase spiritual connection, and establish a profound relationship with Allah during the act of worship.

Course Content:
1- Understanding the Concept of Khushu: Exploring the meaning, significance, and virtues of khushu in Salah.
2- Identifying and Overcoming Distractions: Recognizing common distractions during prayer and learning effective techniques to overcome them.
3- Strengthening Spiritual Awareness: Developing a deeper understanding of the spiritual dimensions of Salah and its impact on our hearts and souls.
4- Practical Steps for Enhancing Khushu: Exploring practical steps and rituals to cultivate khushu, such as proper preparation, recitation, and supplication.
5- Focusing on the Meanings of the Quran: Understanding the importance of reflecting upon the meanings of the Quranic verses recited during Salah.
6- Deepening Connection with Allah: Learning techniques to establish a profound spiritual connection with Allah, including du’a (supplication) and seeking His forgiveness.
7- Overcoming Internal Barriers: Addressing internal barriers and emotional challenges that hinder khushu in Salah, such as stress, anxiety, and lack of presence.

Course Outcome: By the end of this course, participants will:
1- Develop a comprehensive understanding of khushu in Salah and its significance in the Islamic faith.
2- Acquire practical strategies and techniques to overcome distractions and cultivate khushu during prayer.
3- Deepen their spiritual connection and experience a greater sense of tranquility and focus in Salah.
4- Develop a habit of mindfulness and presence in worship, leading to increased spiritual growth and fulfillment.

Course Duration:
8 hours delivered in 4 weeks, two sessions every Saturday and Sunday.

Date:
It starts on the 15th of July.

Time:
Students can choose one of two times: one for British students and another for American and Canadian ones.

The Target Audience:
This course is designed for Muslims who struggle in their Khushu’ and want to develop it. As lack of Khushu’ has become a general sickness, the course is generally available to all Muslims
